Katherine Heigl, the actress of "Grey's Anatomy," has up about how she was raised in the "white bubble" and how this realization has affected how she raises her adoptive multiracial children. In an interview, she spoke about the "Firefly Lane", as well as "Grey's Anatomy" actress admitted her looks didn't bother her, however, after speaking to her adopted sister in South Korea about how society treated them, she became conscious of the differences the two were. I asked Meg whether, while out with her parents, she received a certain treatment and when out alone, she was treated with a totally different kind of treatment. She replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl told parents: "That was when I realized that my naivety had caused me to feel." She admitted that she was frustrated, but she felt that she had to channel this anger to support her daughters. Heigl has a four year old son who is married to her 13 year old spouse, Josh Kelley. They adopted Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8), who is black in 2009.
